Liverpool FC had the chance to minimise the gap with top four of PL Points table as they played against Crystal Palace on Saturday, however they were not able to bother the points table much as Mo Salah was denied by the crossbar just after the halftime break and they could not create much big chances in the match. Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta was also as close as Mo Salah to score a goal just before halftime whistle but ended up hitting the crossbar.
Another frustrating night for Klopp’s team as the number 4 spot remains intangible for them. After the goalless draw Liverpool is in 7th position 6 points behind Tottenham Hotspur who is in 4th position and willing to host Chelsea on Sunday.
